Detailed Directions
Crystal Lake Resort is located SW of Vanderhoof BC. Prince George is the nearest large center and is the crossing point of North/South Hwy 97, and East/West Hwy 16. From Prince George take Hwy 16 West to Vanderhoof, approx. 60mi(100km). Upon entering Vanderhoof you will drive down a hill and pass through two minor traffic lights on the hill itself, and a third after the hill flattens out. This third light is where Hwy 16 intersects main street "Burrard" in Vanderhoof. Continue on Hwy 16 straight
through this light as well. You will take your second left onto the Kenney Dam Rd, (it is named Nechako Ave in town). There are signs here indicating Resort Lakes where you need to make this left hand turn. The business on your left just before you turn is called Rich's Saw Sales. After you turn onto the Kenney Dam Rd, you will go exactly 28mi(47 km). Do not turn off the pavement. Follow the pavement until it ends abruptly at Nulki Lake, continue on the gravel. You will cross the Kluskus Forest
Service Road about half way. Just before you reach the 47km marker, you will come down a steep hill. After this hill watch closely for the 47km marker on your right and the driveway on your left. There is no other driveway for miles around, so it should be obvious, but it tends to sneak up on you. The gate has a sign that says Brooks, and Greer Creek Ranch. The Greer Creek Lodge is a log home with a green roof. Stop here to check in with management. This is our staging area for all our hunts.
For spring hunts we will be hunting directly from here, for fall moose hunts, your guide will take you from here to your hunting cabin. For fishing you will have to drive from Greer Creek up the Crystal Lake Road another 10mi(16km) which is rugged and takes about an hour.
