Facilities

Crystal Lake

We have a lodge, bunkhouse, shower house, and 3 guest cabins on Crystal Lake, as well as 6 remote cabins at several other lakes in the area. Each cabin has 2 rooms, wood heat, propane stove and lanterns, and outdoor privy. Access is very limited except to our guests. You may bring a 4x4 vehicle up the rugged 10 mile trail to Crystal Lake, or rent a vehicle from us. It takes about an hour.

Paddle Lake

The cabin on Paddle Lake has 2 bedrooms and a large common room with a porch that runs right out into a T shaped dock. Constructed in 2008, this cabin is perfectly located on one of our best fishing lakes with truck access only 5 1/2 miles from Crystal Lake down the Paddle Lake Road. This road is very primitive and takes 45 minutes to drive.

Holler Lake

Located only 2 1/2 miles down the Paddle Lake Road is Holler Lake Dock. From there you boat across the lake, paddle briefly through the Narrows to the larger lake, and then around the island to the A-Frame Cabin. This cabin has one bedroom on the main floor and a loft with several bunks.

Johnson Lake

Nestled into the trees just off the lakeshore, Johnson Lake Cabin is well suited for groups up to 6 people. It has a small bedroom, a large bedroom, and a common area. We access this cabin from the Kluskus FSR, down an old logging road passable only to ATV, then to the shoreline of Johnson Lake, then boat around the shore to the cabin site.

Kennedy Lake

Named after Jeff Kennedy who helped us build the cabin, Kennedy Lake is a beautiful log cabin built on a rock overlooking the lake. It has 2 small bedrooms and a small loft to comfortably accommodate 3 people. It is accessed by hiking or ATV from Holler Lake Cabin, a distance of about 4 miles. Kennedy Lake is only a 30 minute hike from 3 of our best fishing lakes, Grassy, Moosehead, and Boomerang, and is also perfectly located to access some tremendous hunting areas as well.

Nulki Hills

Built on the edge of a moose meadow with a nice creek running through it, this cabin is strictly for moose hunting. It is centrally located to access dozens of meadows for moose hunting in a remote area. Access is off the Kluskus FSR, then an arduous 5 mile ATV journey into the cabin. It is a 2 hour ATV trip to the cabin and is not for the faint of heart. The cabin is quite large, with one large bedroom with cots, and one large common room. It can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably.

Little Moose Lake

Built on the edge of a small hunting lake, this 2 bedroom cabin is designed as a spike cabin for hunts from Nulki Hills.

Other Satellite Camps

We have 5 other satellite camps which we use on occasion, but which do not have cabins on them yet. They are Ghost Lake, Duckfoot Lake, Lang Lake, Rona Lake, and Hat Lake. Construction on these sites is planned in the future.

Trails

Our network of trails access more than 40 lakes. Some may be reached by ATV, while others are hike in only. Certain areas are restricted as Non-Motorized, such as Boomerang Lake and Ghost Lake. Most of the area is open to limited ATV use.
