Chris Davidson 21 9-16ths Trophy Black Bear - Ballard Schumann, Guide 2008
Our Trophy Black Bears are between 6' and 7'6" long with skulls measuring 18"-22". Bear hides are prime in the spring with fur up to 4" long, making phenomenal rugs or mounts.
All our Bear Hunts are Spot and Stalk from May 1st to June 15th. Each hunter is allowed to harvest two bears. Expect to see 5 to 10 bears a day, with a variety of color phase bears including black, chocolate, cinnamon, and blonde.

John Harris 20 1/2 Trophy Black Bear - Dan Brooks, Guide 2007
Each hunter is allowed to harvest two bears. We have a variety of color phase bears including black, chocolate, cinnamon, and blonde. Bear hides are prime in the spring with fur up to 4” long, making phenomenal rugs or mounts.
Spring Black Bear Hunts are based from Greer Creek Ranch because of its proximity to the best bear hunting. In the spring, bears frequent lower elevations, south facing slopes, creek and river banks, and logging areas in search of food. |
